QiGong
Qigong means energy (qi) skill (gong) or skillfully working with energy ~ the energy flowing within you and around you. Join Bridget in our classes as we learn how to work with qi (energy) through beautiful, gentle flowing movements that will help you:
1. Continue the healing work you’ve begun in acupuncture;
2. Become familiar with your own energy flow and the energy resources around you; and
3. Learn how to use the movements to reset, relax, or re energize yourself throughout your day
QiGong.. is that like Tai Chi?
Tai Chi and Qi Gong are like cousins; they both incorporate qi and energy. Tai Chi is generally stricter in sequence, detail oriented, and has a long learning curve. It can be difficult to learn and satisfying to perfect the form over time. Qi Gong is a lot more fluid and it’s generally not sequential. It has a shorter learning curve, you can feel the benefits and energy right away.
I've never done QiGong before, is this for me?
YES! All are welcome, no experience needed! Class will be 60 min, with time for questions after. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear (or socks) that you can move around in.
This class is recurring so that you can take the time to learn the helpful, gentle movements and practice them again and again.
When are QiGong classes available?
Our regular classes are held one Friday and one Sunday a month, and have a focus on seasonal energies and the 5 Elements. You can find and schedule our QiGong classes HERE, or using our Schedule Now button.
We’ll begin in January with Winter, the season that calls us into a period of rest so we can recharge our batteries and be ready for all that Spring brings when it returns.
How much does a QiGong class cost?
Classes are $35 and are limited to 6 people. Be sure to sign up in advance in order to secure your spot!
